Temperature tolerant and high solids tolerant plain distillery yeast. Bacteria free. For use with sugar mashes, molasses mashes and starch based mashes like corn, wheat, barley etc. Because this yeast is high solids tolerant it is common to ferment 1-2% more alcohol then usual with molasses mash. With molasses mash the fermentation some times take longer time because this strain likes glucose based mash best. For mash made of sugar or starch based feed stocks this yeast can easily ferment 17.5% ethanol. This is the strain we use in the Turbo Yeast.
